Your studies during the ACT lockdown

Firstly, can I express my heartfelt condolences to everyone in our hospitality community that has been adversely affected by the current ACT Government imposed lockdown. We are hoping and praying the situation will be as short-lived as possible so we can resume our lives and start rebuilding our businesses and careers.

Secondly, you can continue with your studies!

Currently, the only changes to our training and assessment activities for students undertaking a full qualification include the inability of our trainer’s to meet you in person at your workplace or the ACCESS office. Alternatively, online video meetings via Google Meet can be arranged with your trainer.

If you are one of the unfortunate people to have been temporarily stood down, you may continue with your online theory studies. Your practical on-the-job assessments can be put on hold until you are back at work. Please see the link below for the Covid-19 Disaster Payment for workers that have been stood down.

Students currently completing a short course with us e.g RSA should not experience any noticeable changes in our normal high level of service delivery.

We promise to do everything in our power to allow you the opportunity to continue with your studies if you wish to do so. Please find below some links that may help during this unfortunate time.
