Course Description
Holding an RSA certificate is compulsory for anyone serving or supplying alcohol in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The face-to-face RSA course has been approved by Access Canberra (Approval number RSA2011-006) for delivery in the ACT and covers staff obligations under ACT Liquor laws and regulations. All people serving alcohol in the ACT must complete an approved RSA course.
The RSA course is based on the nationally recognised unit of competency SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol. You will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment on successful completion of this course (specific to the ACT).
The course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and is valid for 3 years. After three years participants will eligible to complete the RSA Refresher course.
