Course Requirements

System Requirements

  • A valid email account;

  • Any computer, laptop, MacBook or tablet;

  • A valid form of identification (Driver’s licence or passport or proof of age/identity card or birth certificate or student card);

  • A printer to print a Statutory Declaration form;

  • Either a digital camera/scanner/smartphone or ability to upload documents from your files to your e-learning account;

  • A reliable internet connection; and

  • A reliable internet browser *preferably Google Chrome.

Learning Skills Required

  • To ensure you receive an adequate level of support with your training and assessment, please consider the following questions.

  • Do you consider yourself to have any disability, special needs, reading or writing difficulties that may have an impact on your ability to complete this online course?

  • Do you believe you have the literacy skills to read and interpret documents such as:

  • Identification (ID) cards?

  • Statutory signage and warning signs?

  • Wording within advertising or promotional material, such as in‑house policies and procedures and any other general plain English regulatory and advisory information issued by local, or state and territory liquor licensing authorities?

  • Do you believe that you have the numeracy skills to:

  • Calculate if someone is over 18?

  • Measure or calculate standard drinks?

  • Understand basic probability and the chances of winning jackpots?

  • Calculate how long potentially hazardous food has been kept at room temperature before needing to dispose of it?

  • If you are not confident that you will understand any of the components of this online training, contact us – 02 5100 4985 (during our office opening hours) or email admin@accessrt.edu.au and we will make arrangements to assist you in your training or offer you a blended training option with face-to-face training and assessor support.

Getting Started

  • Step 1: Locate your Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you do not have one, you can apply at www.usi.gov.au. You can also retrieve a forgotten USI;

  • Step 2: Choose your course from the available online course options. Course options include an e-certificate only or an original hardcopy certificate (sent to your residential address) and an e-certificate;

  • Step 3: Complete your enrolment. Fill in the online enrolment form and pay for the course via ‘PayPal’.

  • Step 4: Check your email account for an email from ‘accesselearning’ with the URL login page link, username and password;

  • Step 5: Login and commence your online learning course. You can start and stop whenever you like, and resume later. The system automatically records all your progress and saves it on our servers. When you login next time, you can resume your course from where you left.

  • Step 6: Complete all the assessments;

  • Step 7: Once your assessment has been marked and approved by our assessor, you’ll receive an e-copy of certificate.

Assessment Marking and Issuance of Certificates 

  • Submitted assessment tasks will be marked within 24 hours (Mon – Fri);

  • Assessment tasks deemed not satisfactory will be returned to students to re-attempt and re-submit;

  • Once all assessment tasks have been marked as satisfactory, students will be issued with their certificate;

  • Certificates are issued on a daily basis (Mon – Fri).
